Project: Installation of PV Solar Panels on council owned apartments in Newcastle, to provide each dwelling with solar electricity

Technical Specifications: PV 38kWp array comprising of 450 individual solar panels

PV Systems designed, installed and commissioned a system of 450 solar panels which were mounted on the refurbished roofs of a number of council owned apartment blocks in Anson Place, Newcastle. Although mounted on the roof as one single unit, the panels were electronically connected into individual groups, designed to provide each dwelling with its own power supply. The project was funded by the DTI and used as a large-scale field trial.
